Yes. Rahama Wellness Center is a licensed Specialist Hospital in Lugbe, Abuja, providing in-patient and out-patient addiction recovery alongside psychiatric and psychological care. The programme covers alcohol, cannabis, tramadol, codeine, and other substance use disorders, and runs from a confidential assessment through evidence-based therapy and family involvement to long-term aftercare. Clients come to us from across the FCT, including Gwarinpa, Wuse, Maitama, Asokoro, Garki, and Kubwa.
How much does mental health therapy cost in Abuja?
Therapy fees in Abuja vary by clinician, session length, and service type. Rahama Wellness Center offers transparent pricing and discusses fees during your initial consultation, so there are no surprises. We also work with families on payment plans where possible. Is treatment at Rahama Wellness Center confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is fundamental to everything we do. What you share with your clinician stays between you and your clinician, protected by the Nigeria Data Protection Act and international clinical ethics. The only exceptions are those required by law, for example when there is immediate risk to life. We explain these clearly before your first session.
Do you offer outpatient counselling in Abuja?
Yes. You attend scheduled sessions at our Lugbe centre and carry on with your normal life. Outpatient care covers individual therapy, CBT, family counselling, and the addiction recovery programme, and flexible evening slots are available for working professionals across Abuja. Where a presentation needs closer support, in-patient care is available at the same centre.
What mental health conditions do you treat?
Our licensed clinicians treat a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, grief, relationship and family difficulties, substance use disorders, and adolescent mental-health challenges. We also offer support for less-commonly-discussed issues such as ADHD, autism-related challenges, and bereavement.

Can family members be part of treatment?
Absolutely. Mental health and addiction affect whole families. With your consent, we include partners, parents, and children in treatment through family and couples therapy. We also run separate support sessions for family members of clients in the recovery programme.
