A member of our team answers, listens, and asks a few questions about what has been happening. There is no script to get through and no form to fill in over the phone. If you are calling about someone else, that is a normal call for us to take.

From there we either book an assessment at the centre or, where we are not the right service, tell you plainly and point you somewhere that is. An assessment is a conversation with a clinician about your history and what you want to change. It is not a commitment to a programme, and people leave that appointment without starting treatment often enough that it is a normal outcome rather than an awkward one.

What you tell us stays inside the clinical team at Rahama Wellness Center. We do not tell your employer, your school or anyone else that you contacted us, and family are brought in only where you want them to be. The exception is the one every clinical service shares: if someone is at immediate risk of serious harm, we act on that.
